Hoisting the National Flag at Kachanakawal, the lowest place of the country, in Jhapa district this morning, the Maoist Centre Chair called for the conservation and promotion of the heritages for building a culturally rich society. Chairman Dahal raised the National Flag at the place marker at Kachanakawal. He is scheduled to launch the Maoist with the People Tarai Madhes Public Awareness Campaign from the Hukka Hukki Chowk, Baniyani later in the day today, party’s Jhapa In-charge, Ranjit Tamang, said. The Campaign commencing from Jhapa will conclude upon reaching Kanchanpur in Sudurpaschim, the far-west of the country. The party chairperson is accompanied by the party’s senior vice-chairman Narayan Kaji Shrestha, vice-chair Agni Sapkota, deputy general-secretary duo Barshaman Pun and Janardan Sharma.
