Speaking during ’emergency time’ in the HoR meeting today, he acknowledged that he had realized the ‘nature’ of his remarks, in which he called for the legalization of sex trade in the country. Ghimire clarified that the opinion was his personal one and did not reflect the stance of the party he represents in Parliament. “I apologize for the statement with the realization that it has hurt the sentiments of members of parliament and other communities,” he stated.
