KATHMANDU – Lawmakers have drawn attention of the government on various contemporary issues.
During zero hour of today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, most of the lawmakers asked the government to address genuine demands of agitating teachers.
On the occasion, Bhagawati Chaudhary stressed that solution to the teachers’ agitation should be find out soon. Blaming the government for not paying its serious attention to address the demands of agitating teachers, Bhanu Bhakta Joshi shared the government should take initiative to create an environment for agitating teachers to return to school.
Similarly, Mina Tamang and Maina Karki stressed the need of solving the problems of teachers through dialogue on time while Yogendra Mandal pointed out the need of bringing School Education Act soon.
Similarly, Man Bahadur Gurung drew government’s attention to construct necessary infrastructures at a time when Pokhara has already been declared tourist capital of Nepal while Manish Jha demanded to make public the property details of ministers.
Likewise, Mahesh Kumar Bartaula stressed the need of constructing Nijgadh fast track, the national pride project, on time. Ranju Kumari Jha suggested the government to bring policy, programme and budget for coming fiscal year increasing child nutrition allowance while Mahesh Basnet asked the government to make arrangement of urea fertilizer for tea farmers in Ilam.
Menaka Kumari Pokhrel demanded the government to make arrangement for orphan children in government’s policy and programme for coming fiscal year.
Similarly, Ram Hari Khatiwada asked the government to immediately forward the process for the appointment of governor.
