Speaking at a meeting of the International Relations Committee of the Parliament on Friday, Foreign Minister Gyawali said that the visit of Indian Foreign Secretary has opened the door to dialogue with India. Stating that the dialogues which have been stalled for months after Nepal released its revised map, the high-level visits opened the door for the resumption of bilateral talks. He also informed that Nepal has raised the border issue with India as a formal agenda. According to Foreign Minister Gyawali, Nepal will raise the border dispute with India in upcoming bilateral dialogues seriously. Earlier on November 26, Indian Foreign Secretary Shringla had come to Nepal for his official two-day visit.
