During a meeting between senior leaders of two parties held at Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence Budhanilkantha on Saturday, they have agreed to immediately demand the House session and forge collaboration between opposition parties in the parliament. Janata Samajwadi Party’s chairperson Mahanta Thakur, its federal council chairman Baburam Bhattarai and senior leader Rajendra Mahato had reached Deuba’s residence. According to Bhattarai’s aide Biswodip Pandey, the leaders of two main opposition parties agreed to demand the House session immediately and forge collaboration between the two opposition parties to work for the protection of democracy, fight corruption and Covid-19 as well as raise socio-economic issues. Earlier on Friday, Nepali Congress President Deuba had said that his efforts to demand the House session could not bear the fruit aa the party alone does not has 25 percent seats in the parliament.
