Mayor Mahesh Chaudhary confirmed that the municipality has declared a public holiday today to mourn the death of leader Giri. A resident of Lahan municipality-10, Giri passed away at 9:30 pm on Saturday night at Mediciti Hospital, Nakhkhu, Lalitpur. Giri was elected to the House of Representatives in 2017 general elections from Sirha constituency no. 1.
