A meeting of the Chief District Officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur has decided to extend the current lockdown to one more week. Kathmandu Chief District Officer Janak Raj Dahal said that the order was relaxed after assessing the current situation. Vehicles will be able to operate on an odd/even system beginning tomorrow, September 10. In additional, private and public vehicles with more than 16 seats will also be able to operate on the odd-even system A Chief District Official has stated that the ban could be reconsidered later this week after assessing the state of the COVlD-19 situation in the valley.
