The victims have been identified as Sita Nepal, 45, and Januka Mahat, 60, of Kasigaun of Khairhani municipality-1. According to Bheshraj Rijal, Spokesperson for the District Police Office, Chitwan, the two were attacked by the wild animal at 6:20 am as they were warming up by the fire within their house premises. The injuries are not life-threatening, and they are receiving treatment Bharatpur Hospital.
