In a message today on the occasion of Chhath festival, Vice-President Pun said, “The multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-culture and secular country is rich in various religions, and cultures. Such elements have made Nepal more beautiful as well as strengthening national unity.” He added though the Chhath festival is not being observed in a joyful environment this year as in previous years due to coronavirus pandemic and urged everyone to celebrate this year’s Chhath festival by following health security protocols. The Vice-President wished that the Chhath festival will encourage all Nepalis for national unity in order to fight against coronavirus and to fulfill the national goal of “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali”.
