His personal secretary Krishna Bhattarai told RSS that leader Khanal was diagnosed with COVID-19 in a PCR test. He has been admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic hospital after he tested coronavirus positive. Earlier too, he was admitted to Manmohan Memorial Hospital after contracting the virus.
