Addressing the inaugural session of the Eighth National Convention of Nepal Civil Service Employees’ Union here today, Minister Karki said the government was fully informed about the Federal Civil Service Act and the needs of the civil servants would be taken into account. “Civil service is the permanent government of the country. I urge the Nepal Civil Service Employees’ Union to work for the cause of civil servants and people by maintaining its professional character,” according to Minister Karki. He also asked the civil servants to work for the national interests by keeping aside their personal ambitions as the country was going through a tough time. Karki added the civil servants should work to give good impression on citizens adding that they have vital role in building a prosperous nation.
