Tourism minister Ale leaving for India today to take part in ‘Wings India, 2022’


KATHMANDU – Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale is leaving for neighbouring India today to take part in ‘Wings India, 2022’, Asia’s largest civil aviation event organised jointly by the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the event that is taking place on Friday in Hyderabad. Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of various countries will take part in the event.

On the occasion, Minister Ale is slated to put his view on civil aviation sector of Nepal and exchange experiences about the sector with other participants, said Hamsha Raj Pandeya of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, who is also a part of the team visiting India.

During his one-day official visit, Minister Ale is scheduled to make his efforts to encourage as many as Indian tourists to visit Nepal, urge Indian Government for necessary assistances and open airline routes at airports at the Nepal-India borders.
