Minister Koirala took the oath at a special ceremony organized at the Office of President-Shital Niwas- in Kathmandu. In attendance in the event were Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, heads of the constitutional bodies and high-ranking officials among others. Earlier today, President Bhandari appointed Koirala to the existing Council of Ministers on the recommendation of Prime Minister Deuba and in accordance with Article 78(1) of the Constitution of Nepal.
