गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Politics ∕ President Bhandari addressing joint parliamentary meeting Politics President Bhandari addressing joint parliamentary meeting KathmanduPati February 10, 2023 KATHMANDU – President Bidya Devi Bhandari is addressing the joint meeting of the National Assembly (NA) and the House of Representatives at New Baneshwor-based Parliament Building. Prior to this, President Bhandari was welcomed by Speaker Devraj Ghimire and the NA Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina on the parliament building premises. On the occasion, a contingent of the Nepali Army offered a guard of honour to the President. Before the meeting began, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ presented a copy of the contents of an address to the President. Present on the occasion are Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, PM Dahal, acting Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki and high ranking officials including chief of constitutional bodies. PM Dahal will separately table a copy of the address by the President in the meeting today itself. Both the Houses have an agenda to endorse a proposal of a vote of thanks in honour of the President.
