At a programme organised at Bhairahawa today, leader Thapa said it was just a rumor that he is becoming a minister. “There is no reality in the rumor that I am becoming a minister. My priority is how to further strengthen the party”, he opined. General-Secretary Thapa argued that no one has given any position to him in the party, adding whatever he has got, he got by fighting in the party and from his own capacity. He shared that the government should move ahead in order to address people’s dissatisfaction and woes, suggesting the government to work in such way making the people believe that situation would be better tomorrow than today. Leader Thapa complained that the central committee meeting of the party has not taken place since long. He expressed the view that the NC would alone compete in all 165 constituencies of the country in the election to be held in 2084 and preparation is underway in this regard.
