At the meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar, the PM and Speaker discussed on making the House business effective. On the occasion, PM Dahal informed Speaker Ghimire about the government’s preparations to present its policies and programmes in the joint sitting of the Federal Parliament on May 19. He also expressed happiness over the various parliamentary committees holding their meetings from today. During the meeting, the Prime Minister said the Speaker is expected to play a role in moving ahead in a procedural manner the bills that have been tabled in the House, PM Dahal’s Secretariat stated.
