The meeting was called for 3 pm today, but was postponed citing special reason. The Federal Parliament Secretariat, through a notice, stated that the HoR shall next meet at 1pm on July 9. The main opposition, CPN (UML) has been obstructing the parliament meeting in protest against a statement made by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ in a programme recently.
