DPM Lamichhane casts doubt over new alliance

KATHMANDU – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Rabi Lamichhane has expressed his doubt over the relevance and need of the newly formed alliance between the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML).

In the deliberation on the proposal presented by Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ seeking a vote of confidence in today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, DPM Lamichhane claimed that the consensus forged between the two big parties in the parliament was not a national consensus.
