Chairman of the commission Balanand Paudel presented the annual report of the commission for the fiscal year 2080/81 BS before the President Paudel in a programme held today at Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas. On that occasion, President Paudel said that the role and responsibility of the commission in the implementation of fiscal federalism is important. He expressed his belief that the commission will work in a more orderly, strong and effective manner in accordance with its responsibilities including revenue sharing, financial equalization grants, internal debt limits, meeting the expenditure responsibilities of all three levels of government. It will further recommend measures to improve revenue collection under the fiscal federalism, he believed.
