Addressing a mass gathering organized by the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in the capital today, Home Minister Badal warned of locking up protesters if they turn violent. Referring to the agitating NCP led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Pushpa Kama Dahal ‘Prachanda’, he warned the protesters of locking them up in the zoo if their protests turned violent. Minister Badal’s warning of locking up protesters who resort to ‘non veg’ protest, a reference to violent protest as suggested recently by Prachanda recently. He also said that the initiatives to displace the leadership has plunged the country into chaos. “The instability is linked to political and government leadership. We can fight it only after understanding it,” said Minister Badal.
