Ask Supreme Court my party’s name, PM Oli advises Bhim Rawal

KATHMANDU – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has advised Bhim Rawal, a leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal faction, to ask the Supreme Court about the political party of the Prime Minister.

Addressing a ceremony in the capital to mark the 111st International Women’s Day on Monday, Prime Minister Oli advised Rawa to ask the Supreme Court  about the political party of the Prime Minister.

“They expelled me as a general member from the NCP. Now, go and ask the Supreme Court from which party I am from,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s advice was in response to Rawal’s statement yesterday in the House of Representatives where he asked the Prime Minister’s party after the Supreme Court’s verdict to strip the ruling party of its name NCP.

Prime Minister Oli also said that the situation would have been better if the house was reinst and the elections were held as announced by the government.

He said that House sessions will run smoothly after the restoration of the House.   He also challenged the Prachanda-Nepal faction to reject the ordinances tabled by the government.
