The standing committee is convening at 4 pm at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar. The meeting will discuss the mid-term elections, the unfolding political situation and the party’s internal life, party office secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang said. President Bidya Devi Bhandari has, on the recommendation of the government, last night fixed the date for the mid-term election on coming November 12 and 19.
