In the oath taking ceremony organised at the office of the Federal Parliament in Singha Durbar today, NA Chair Timalsina handed over an emblem of the Federal Parliament to Pandey and congratulated him. Pandey, a candidate representing Nepali Congress, had emerged victorious in the by-election held in Lumbini Province on May 31. Present in today’s occasion were NA Vice-Chair Shashikala Dahal, NA member Radheshyam Adhikari, federal parliament secretariat secretary-general Dr Bharat Gautam among others who also congratulated Pandey and extended best wishes to him for his successful tenure.
