Before this, Nepal Airlines had been operating flights twice a week on Wednesday and Friday. The same airline is operating one more flight on Monday, said Suman Thapa, the Station Manager of Resunga Airport. “One more flight has been started with the growing number of air passengers. Necessary coordination would be done with the Nepal Airlines for starting additional flights depending on the number of passengers,” he said. An 18-seater plane of Nepal Airlines has been operating flights on Kathmandu-Resunga-Kathmandu route in the morning every Wednesday and Friday. The airfare on Kathmandu-Resunga is Rs 7,280 while it is Rs 7,080 on Resunga-Kathmandu route. Resunga airport is at a distance of five kilometres from Tamghas, the headquarters of Gulmi district.
