गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Chuman elected Maoist Centre’s Gandaki parliamentary party leader Nepal Chuman elected Maoist Centre’s Gandaki parliamentary party leader KathmanduPati January 02, 2023 KATHMANDU – Hari Bahadur Chuman has been unanimously elected the Gandaki province parliamentary party leader of the CPN (Maoist Centre). A meeting of the parliamentary party of the CPN (MC) on Sunday evening decided to elect Chuman as the parliamentary party leader of the province, shared party’s Gandaki province chairperson Gayatri Gurung. Chuman was directly elected from Tanahun constituency 1(2). Senior-most member Krishna Dhital chaired the meeting that elected Chuman the parliamentary party leader unopposed, Gurung further said. It may be noted that the Maoist Centre had won eight seats including five under directly election system and three under proportional representation system in Gandaki Province. Earlier, Chuman had served as the Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of the Gandaki Province.
