Judge Bhuwan Giri was held from Gongabu area of Kathmandu on Tuesday and was sent to Kapilbastu district today itself, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sitaram Rijal of District Police Range Kathmandu confirmed. Giri was arrested following an arrest warrant from the Kapilbastu District Court based on a petition filed by his spouse Arati on marital rape case. The police in Kapilbastu district have been carrying out investigations into the case, it is said.
