गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ CIAA files lawsuit against former PADT member secretary Dhakal Nepal CIAA files lawsuit against former PADT member secretary Dhakal KathmanduPati June 26, 2023 KATHMANDU – The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a lawsuit against the then member secretary of the Pashupati Area Development Trust Dr. Pradeep Dhakal in the Special Court, Kathmandu charging him with amassing properties illegally. The CIAA in the charge sheet has claimed that Dhakal acquired over Rs 14 million, the legal source of which has not been established, said the CIAA Spokesperson Bhola Dahal. A lawsuit has been filed in the Special Court today after Dhakal during an investigation is found to have amassed a large amount of money illegally by abusing power while he was in the PADT as member secretary during the Nepali month of Shrawan, 2074 BS to Jestha, 2079 BS, according to a statement issued today by the CIAA. The investigation was launched acting on a complaint.
