Issuing a press statement today, the Vice President urged one and all to abide by and protect the Constitution. “Latest political developments in the country provide a space for raising public voices over the ‘failure’ of the Patron of the Constitution to comply with and protect the Constitution cautiously, and the creation of the situation to raise such voices is unfortunate. It is the duty of each person to comply with the Constitution.” He urged one and all to do their part as per the Constitution, and follow and protect the country’s main law. Recalling the celebration of the Constitution Day recently (September 19) in commemoration of the promulgation of the Constitution 2015 by the sovereign Constituent Assembly, he reminded all about their constitutional duties.
