Senior leader of the Nepali Congress, he was elected to the post of President on March 9. Paudel today wrote to the Nepali Congress central office, informing it about his dissociation with the party as its member since he has been elected the President, said the party’s chief secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel. President-elect Paudel is scheduled to take oath of office and secrecy tomorrow. The Office of the President has made preparation for organising a special ceremony at 1:00pm on Monday for the administration of oath to the newly-elected President.
