She had filed her candidacy for Vice President on behalf of Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal. She took back her candidacy in support of MP Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav’s candidacy for the post of Vice President. Pramila has through a press release urged all to back and extend support to Ram Sahay Yadav, describing him as a leader with clean image and espousing high thinking, who has also made a long struggle and dedication. On March 9, a meeting of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal’s executive committee had decided to field Ram Sahay Yadav, the leader of its parliamentary party, as the Vice President candidate.
