Stating that the CPN (UML) has already decided to withdraw its support to the government, the parliamentary parliament meeting of CPN (UML) Karnali held today decided to urge Chief Minister Shahi to step down from the post to pave the way for the formation of a new government. “CPN (UML)’s parliamentary party on Chaitra 5 had decided to withdraw the support to Chief Minister Shahi. Today’s meeting decided to urge Chief Minister Shahi to clear the way for the formation of the new government as soon as possible,” said Gulabjung Shah, Chief Whip of Karnali’s CPN (UML). Likewise, three ministers from CPN (UML) in the Shahi-led cabinet have also informed that they will resign from their posts as instructed by the party. Shah told Kathmandu Pati that all three ministers have agreed to resign from their posts as instructed by the party on Chaitra 5. He said that they will step down from their posts within 24.
