KATHMANDU – The CPN (UML) taskforce has prepared the outline for resolving the intra-party conflict and the party would be declared united.
In the discussions the taskforce held in Singha Durbar this afternoon, preparations have been made to sort out the dispute on the basis of agreement, said Subas Nembang one of the members of the taskforce.
He said the taskforce will meet again in the evening today to sort out all the problems in the party. The taskforce will meet in Singha Durbar again at 7pm to carry out home work to that end.
UML Chair KP Sharma Oli and party senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal held a meeting before this in connection with the preparation of the taskforce and for mutual consultations.
“Our emphasis will be on taking the dispute resolution within the party to its final conclusion today itself as far as possible. Whatever is being done in this direction is going good. Issuing a joint statement on the basis of understanding is not a big deal. We are going to announce the party is unified,” Nembang said.
He added that discussions were continuous regarding resolving the dispute within the party. The home work related to the agreement done by the taskforce would be discussed with the top leaders before sitting for the meeting.
UML secretary Gokarna Raj Bista said the dispute would be resolved and the declaration of united party would be made soon.
