The EC has determined two and half hours to both parties for the verification. The leaders should reach the EC between 11:30 am to 2:00 pm for the verification. EC Spokesperson Raj Kumar Shrestha said that the verification should be done within the deadline set by the EC. Proposed CPN (Unified Socialist) under leadership of Madhav Kumar Nepal and Mahantha Thakur-led Democratic Socialist Party have filed application at EC for the registration of new parties.
