The deceased has been identified as 56-year-old Kamala Nepali of Butwal-11 Devinagar, according to the area police office Butwal. The incident took place this morning when the ambulance (Lu. 1 Ja.531), which was carrying a patient from Argakhanchi to Butwal, hit them near a suspension bridge. The injured 55-year-old Harikala Nepali and 35-year-old Jhupa Thatrai of Devinagar are undergoing treatment at the Lumbini Regional Hospital. Ambulance driver Narayan Bahadur Magar of Panini Rural Municipality-7 of Arghakhanchi has been taken into custody for necessary action, police said.
