गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ One arrested with 4 lakhs IC Nepal One arrested with 4 lakhs IC KathmanduPati October 04, 2020 File Photo KATHMANDU : The Armed Police Force has arrested a person in the possession of Rs. 400,000 Indian Currency, brought illegally through the Krishnanagar transit point of Kapilvastu. The team led by police inspector Niranjan Raj Karki arrested 54-year-old Pappu Gupta, a resident of Krishnanagar municipality-2, on Saturday. Acting on special tip-off, police intercepted Gupta and found the money. The amount was in 500 and 2000 denomination, which is worth 640,000 Nepali rupees. Gupta will be handed over to the Inland Revenue Office in Butwal for necessary action, said inspector Karki.
