President Bidya Devi Bhandari had called a session of the Lower House of the federal parliament for today for the purpose of deciding on the vote of confidence to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. CPN (UML) leader Bhim Bahadur Rawal shared that the meeting of their group convened at Singha Durbar took the decision not to give vote of confidence to PM Oli. The group concluded that they could not cast vote of confidence for the PM for he had dissolved the HoR by bypassing the constitution, sought to divide the political parties and promoted corruption in the country. Leader Rawal further shared that the meeting concluded that PM’s action such as appointment in the constitutional bodies through introduction of ordinances on the eve of the seeking vote of confidence has weakened democracy. Thus, Oli should be removed from the post of Prime Minister, the meeting decided. There are 22 parliamentarians representing CPN (UML) Nepal group.
