Flights to and from the district could not take place due to the incessant rains throughout the country including in Humla. The private airlines which had been operating regular flights from Nepalgunj and Surkhet even during the prohibitory period suspended the flights due to unfavourable weather. The Simkot Airport Office here said that flights had to be suspended due to the incessant rainfall in the district caused by the monsoon wind that entered Nepal. Meanwhile, the transportation of food grain, construction materials and logistics and daily consumer goods to the district from outside has also stopped with the suspension of flights. This is likely to create shortage of essential goods in the district.RSS Write your comments RELATED NEWS Files blocked based on political connections will be opened: Home… “I Will Not Resign Under Any Circumstances”: Chief Minister Singh Phone Conversation Between Prime Minister Karki and Narendra Modi: What… There is no time to Become a Minister by Leaving… Six Human Skeletons Found at Bhatbhateni, Chucchepati Congress Will Support a Government Formed Under Gen Z’s Chosen… Top Headlines Relevance of Prithivi Narayan Shah in Contemporary Nepal1 Scrutinizing Relevance of Prithivi Narayan Shah´s Thoughts and Strategy2 Huawei Unveils 83 Global Showcases and 10 Industry Solutions at MWC Barcelona 2025 to Promote Industrial Intelligence3 Ncell is the FIRST Nepali Telecom Company to receive ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for information security and data privacy4 Photo exhibition at Nepal Army Headquarters5 PM Oli, Sri Lankan’s former President meet6 Pokhara International Airport: Issues and Prospects7 Gold price ups Rs 2,000 per tola8 TRENDING Hetauda Cement Industry resumes operation Indian Army Chief General Naravane to visit Nepal in November Indian RAW Chief Goel meets Prime Minister Oli after coming to Nepal from Bhutan Taking a jab at Home Minister Badal, Biplab says his party is not underground Siwakoti appointed as Nepal’s Trade Advisor by Canadian Trade Commission Services Govt appoints Deepak Bhandari as NARC’s Executive Director China prepares to deploy missiles to Nepal-India border Lipulekh Nepal now and Nepal then
