Flights to and from the district could not take place due to the incessant rains throughout the country including in Humla. The private airlines which had been operating regular flights from Nepalgunj and Surkhet even during the prohibitory period suspended the flights due to unfavourable weather. The Simkot Airport Office here said that flights had to be suspended due to the incessant rainfall in the district caused by the monsoon wind that entered Nepal. Meanwhile, the transportation of food grain, construction materials and logistics and daily consumer goods to the district from outside has also stopped with the suspension of flights. This is likely to create shortage of essential goods in the district.RSS Write your comments RELATED NEWS All will be brought on board to conduct NC general… Twelve houses gutted in fire in Nawalparasi Dissemination of misleading contents doesn’t serve FoE spirit: Minister Timilsina RSP to hold district convention from April 28 Home Ministry issues nine-point directive for administrative reforms Government focuses on good governance, prosperity: Minister Khanal Top Headlines Before the Ballots: How Oli Lost the Political Narrative1 Nepali Congress provides financial assistance for Samba’s treatment2 Jagdamba Group Chairman Shankar Agrawal Arrested3 PM Karki addresses 61st Session of Human Rights Council: Reaffirms Nepal’s unflinching commitment to advancing human rights4 Govt declares three-day public holiday of election5 NC President Thapa expresses sorrow over Dhading bus accident6 We will return the savings of cooperative victims within 100 days : Rabi Lamichhane7 Two Offices Under Ministry of Communication to Be Abolished8 TRENDING National Poet Madhav Prasad Ghimire no more Nearly three dozen Chinese manufacturers show interest in supplying electric buses to Nepali government WAP and the portrayal of the female body as a commodity Money laundering case worth millions filed against gangster ‘Bale’ CDO Bhatta: Lockdown in Kathmandu Valley should be extended until Dashain While police cracks down small hotels, restaurants, Chaudhary Group’s Vivanta enjoys immunity Karnali’s Chief Minister Shahi averts no-confidence motion following agreement with Madhav Kumar Nepal-led faction CPN Secretariat meeting postponed due to coronavirus
