गृहपृष्ठ ∕ Nepal ∕ Fire in soybean factory causes damages worth Rs 40 million Nepal Fire in soybean factory causes damages worth Rs 40 million KathmanduPati October 28, 2020 KAILALI – A soybean factory at Shankarpur of Tikapur Municipality-3 in the Kailali district was gutted in fire this morning causing damage to properties worth Rs 40 million. According to the Area Police Office in Tikapur, the fire caught the factory at around 4 am. The preliminary investigation of the police suggests that the fire erupted due to a short circuit. The factory’s structures and goods were reduced to ashes in the incident, informed the factory’s proprietor Manish Balayar. The joint effort of the locals and security personnel and fire brigade from the Tikapur Municipality doused the fire in two hours. Further investigation into the case is underway.
