Rimal, in a Tweet on Thursday night, informed about his recovery. Along with Rimal, other key advisors to PM Oli such as Surya Thapa (Press Advisor), Rajan Bhattarai (Foreign Affairs Advisor) and the PM’s chief personal assistant Indra Bhandari had also tested positive for the COVID-19. They are still currently at home-isolation.
