According to the Ministry of Health and Populations, 2,100 people in Kathmandu district, 369 in Lalitpur and 203 in Bhaktapur tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours. With new 2,672 cases in the past 24 hours, the Valley’s Covid-19 case tally has reached 40,669. Earlier on Friday, 1,409 new Covid-19 cases were detected. According to Jageshwor Gautam, the ministry’s spokesperson, the Valley also recorded six new Covid-19 linked death cases.
